Erasmus in Girona

1 min read

Everything has started in Girona and I will always be thanful that I decided to go. Hard to describe what I mean by "everything". Let´s say it might be the joy from meeting international people, that spirit being surrounded by them, an adventurous mind and eagerness to explore and travel, gathering experiences from abroad, learning to function on your own, facing unique situations and emotions, perceive different cultures & approaches & mindset. and gain perspective, social skills and selfawareness. And the list of benefits could go on and on! Erasmus was my also first time being alone abroad for longer period of time and just now I am able to evaluate all the benefits from one study program abroad.

Girona is a city in the north-east of Spain, in Catalonia. It has around 95,000 inhabitants and is a totally awesome city to live in, with everything you need. About an hour and a half from Girona are the ski resorts. In half an hour you're on  Costa Brava, which is a many-kilometres-long coastline with beautiful beaches and cliffs. In less than an hour (with fast train in about 30min ) you are in Barcelona!

Besides exploring Spain, I also traveled abroad with other international students: Morocco, Andorra or Amsterdam.

Feel free to get through some of my most beautiful moments from the happiest part of my life!
