First time in South America! Almost three weeks in Colombia (11.-28.03.2025).
It was challenging trip as we wanted to see and experience many things. Once you´re in such a beautiful, but vast country, you just want to make the best our of it. And we did!
We managed to visit all major cities in different parts of the country thanks to four domestic flights and two long-distance buses. Regarding the accommodation, we used mostly Aibnb and booking. We always took our time while choosing the flat/room, because safety is number 1. Also, number of references and photos are important when choosing your accommodation. It happened that the actual room/flat wasnt in the conditions as promised.
Colombia food is delicious. We tried to eat like locals, simply in local restaurants, street food markets etc.
